Follow these simple steps when your rug arrives to ensure that it looks and feels its best in your room decor.

  • This rug is machine-woven from synthetic polypropylene fibers.

  • Vacuum thoroughly at least once a week with a low-pressure vacuum cleaner without beater bars. Flip rug upside-down to shake out excess debris.

  • For stains, make a solution of water, white vinegar and mild detergent. Apply the foam that rises to the top of the solution on the stained area with a clean cloth. Finish using a damp, clean cloth to absorb any residue.

  • Rug will arrive either rolled or folded depending upon size. Back-roll/reverse roll your rug and allow time for any creases to relax. Any "new rug smell" is completely normal! Air out in a well-ventilated area if necessary.

Product Description

The SAFAVIEH Dallas Shag 257 collection carries a Moroccan ogee lattice across a deep shag ground in beige & ivory, a curved geometry that stays readable at 1 5/8" of pile. Each rug is power-loomed from polypropylene, dense enough at the base that the lattice holds open instead of closing up underfoot. The fiber resists matting, shedding and fading, so the pattern survives daily traffic rather than blurring into the texture. Dallas Shag suits a living room, bedroom or dorm room where comfort comes before formality.
